TTEC will be awarding 10 one-time $5,000 scholarships through a process administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. TTEC MEMBERS can sponsor a CHILD OR STEPCHILD who is NOW A HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR, will be graduating high school Spring 2026, and entering college in Fall 2026. • Who is eligible? TTEC members can sponsor a child or stepchild who is NOW A HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR, will be graduating high school Spring 2026, and entering college in Fall 2026 (people who do not fit in the description above are not eligible).
• When are applications accepted? Will accept online entries from August 15, 2024 through March 31, 2025.
• What are the requirements for application? Students must take the October 2023 PSAT/NMSQT and complete the steps in the entry form process: https://programentry.nationalmerit.org/travelers-2026
• When will I hear if my application is advancing in the selection process? If you are selected for advancement you will be notified through your high school by November 2025. If you don’t hear notice of advancement by November 2025 then you have not been selected for advancement in consideration for the scholarship. Based on the sheer number of entrants the NMSC does not notify each and every applicant. A number of TTEC members have expressed concern that the communication from the NMSC is lacking. We hear you – the NMSC IT department is working to improve the process and address many of these concerns. We do anticipate this will not be a “quick fix” – we appreciate your patience as we work through these improvements.
• When will I hear if the person I have sponsored has been selected for a scholarship? For applicants who have been selected for advancement, there is a more detailed application process. These applicants will be notified of results in mid-May 2026 by NMSC.
• How do I know if my application was received? If you have made it through step 5 of the application process on the website you should see a “Entry Form Confirmation” which means you have successfully submitted the application. It’s a good idea to Print and retain a copy of the submitted Entry Form Confirmation from Step 5.
• If I applied in 2023-2024, for the 2025 scholarship, when should I expect to hear something? If you are selected for advancement you will be notified through your high school by November 2024. If you don’t hear notice of advancement by November 2024 then you have not been selected for advancement in consideration for the scholarship.
