The eyeglass collection enables the Lions Club to provide the invaluable gift of sight to individuals in need. Kindly refrain from including cases, as they are not accepted by the Lions Club. Collection boxes are conveniently located on the first floor in the hallway connecting the GS and MS buildings
The Volunteer Committee works with area schools and organizations in the Greater Hartford region to help them raise funds and supplies for their organizations. We help with collections for school supplies, books, coats, hats and mittens for the less fortunate. We also help with supplying volunteers for the many walkathons held in and around Hartford throughout the year. We help form teams for these same events. You will see us at the Hartford Marathon, collecting toys at Christmas, selling flowers in the spring, giving of our time and muscle at Habitat for Humanity, Day of Caring and Rebuilding Together.
