Stitching Warmth for Kids Who Need It Most Join the Hole in the Wall Gang Bandit Quilters! We’re creating handmade quilts for children with serious illnesses at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, which they can take home and cherish. Each quilt becomes a lasting reminder that people care.
The Volunteer Committee works with area schools and organizations in the Greater Hartford region to help them raise funds and supplies for their organizations. We help with collections for school supplies, books, coats, hats and mittens for the less fortunate. We also help with supplying volunteers for the many walkathons held in and around Hartford throughout the year. We help form teams for these same events. You will see us at the Hartford Marathon, collecting toys at Christmas, selling flowers in the spring, giving of our time and muscle at Habitat for Humanity, Day of Caring and Rebuilding Together.
We are grateful for the donation of over 600 pairs of eyeglasses — almost doubling what we collected last year.
