The Fiber Arts Club is a community for fiber art crafters (knitting, crochet etc.) who would like to connect, share their experiences and knowledge while working on their latest project!
We meetup Bi-Weekly – on Tuesdays – from 12:00pm – 1:00pm EST in the Hartford office (Plaza Mezzanine – Training Room 3) or join us virtually on MS Teams!
Note: Feel free to bring your lunch or snacks to the meetups!
What to Expect:
• For Beginners: Hands on teaching from other participants along with video and pattern recommendations.
• Project Assistance: Help with ongoing works in progress or guidance on starting a new one.
• Knit A-longs: Pattern(s) shared within the club where everyone can work together on the same project at their own pace. Members can share their progress, offer tips, and support each other throughout the process!
• Yarn Yapping: Conversations about different fibers, discovered patterns, or all the above.
• Fiber Swaps: Any extra or unwanted yarn that you might have in your stash can be brought to the meetings and shared/traded amongst the group.
Crafters at all skill levels are welcome!
