Welcome to the Fiber Arts Club!
This club meets bi-weekly from 12:00pm – 1:00pm EST on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Since we meet during lunch, feel free to bring your food or snacks along!
We gather in person at the Hartford office at Central Row – Floor 2 – Training Room #3. To stay in the loop with meeting invites and club updates, drop an email or teams message to Chumble@travelers.com.
Whether you knit, crochet, sew, embroider, cross stitch, felt, spin, weave, or dabble in any other fiber craft — this is your space. All skill levels and all crafts are welcome here!
What to Expect:
For Beginners: Hands-on guidance from fellow members, along with video tutorials, pattern recommendations, and technique tips tailored to your craft of choice.
Project Assistance: Help with ongoing works in progress, troubleshooting tricky techniques, or guidance on starting something new — no matter what you’re making.
Craft-a-longs: Select patterns that are shared and worked on collaboratively during select times throughout the year. Members are encouraged to share progress, swap tips, and cheer each other on! (Note: Currently encompasses Knitting, Crochet, Sewing)
Stitch & Spill: Open conversation about fibers, tools, patterns, techniques, and anything else that has caught your eye or sparked your creativity lately.
Fiber & Supply Swaps: Have extra yarn, fabric, thread, roving, or other supplies taking up space in your stash? Bring it along! Members are welcome to share, trade, or gift materials to one another.
