The musical Shucked is a comedic tale about Maizy, a woman from the small, corn-dependent town of Cob County, who leaves her home to find someone in Tampa who can save their dying corn crop. She encounters a con artist, a podiatrist who calls himself a “corn doctor,” leading to unexpected challenges, romance, and a journey to bring unity and hope to her divided town. The show is filled with corn-related puns and double entendres, creating an audacious and joyful, albeit corny, American musical. TTEC has reserved Rear Orchestra tickets to two performances to be held in the Bushnell’s Mortensen Hall; Wednesday, February 25th @ 7:30PM tickets for TTEC members are $78 and guests are $92.25 and Friday, February 27th 7:30PM tickets for TTEC members are $85 and guests are $99.50(prices include a Public Access Surcharge). We must sell a minimum of 10 tickets to receive this discounted rate. If we do not reach the minimum, the price could increase. Each member may purchase one ticket at the member price. Any additional tickets must be purchased at the guest price.
